Blog Winner for our May Give-Away

Sandi, from Minnesota, won our blog give-away! Congratulations! Sandi, hope you enjoy your new stash of ribbons and trims. Each month, we will offer a give-away with a variety of trims, ribbons and embellishments, in hopes of showing appreciation.

I wish Spring could last and last here in the North East. Even with the rain and weather extremes, every day is appreciated. The rhododendrens are blooming at the moment and this is a shot looking towards my Victorian garden, that needs lots of work. After my EGA lecture on Wednesday, will tackle the garden and all the lush poison ivy that abounds!

I can hardly wait to receive the package! When I was a little girl, I used to send off a dime and three labels from Wright's rick rack and trims for a package of assorted trims and laces. I remember how excited I would be in anticipation of the white envelope that would arrive in our post office Box #2. I feel like that kid again and when I think of what I saw what will be coming my way, well, like I said......I can hardly wait! Thank you soooo much!

The woodland Santa is amazing! I love the oldworld earthly feel to him. His face is really expressive.

Wow what a gorgeous scene to be able to see:) I would love spring to be all the time here. Your picture is so inspiring for a silk ribbon embroidered scene!

Dear lifemyway - you are so right. Stephanie is so talented in everything she creates but her faces and hands on her dolls, make all of us marvel. The Woodland Santa will always be special, because he was created by Stephanie.

Dear Ann, I agree! I could stand year-round Spring! I grew up in West Texas - flat, dry, with horrific wind and dust storms. Perhaps living that way, makes us so love the beauty in this area with the rolling hills, lakes and trees! (But I won't tell you how I feel about winter in Pennsylvania. 5 months of "get me out of here!")
