Shabby Chic Lace Collage

I've started a series of Shabby Chic Lace collages using all vintage lace.
I've used one of Rengin's oyas at the bottom of the image.
The small metal findings are French. There are 50 collages in various stages and many are going to an art event and some will find their way to etsy. It was frightening to see the amount of lace I've collected over the past 20 years! It's great to see the laces finally displayed in small vignettes instead of residing lonely in plastic totes.

Have a great weekend!

Denis, I'm with you, these are fun to make. I'm afraid I take a bit too long in placing all the lace pieces. I know your collages are lovely!

It's great to use stash that has been gathering for too many years!

Thank you! I would hope having one of these collages in our home, would make us reflect on a time where life moved a bit slower.

Julia, thank you! I'm in a state of collage frenzy at the moment and enjoying every minute late-nite moment! There are lace bits everywhere. How fun to use old buttons that I've been collecting for years!
